Elmer Sanchez

Elmer Sanchez was born the son of Cuban immigrants. He learned the value of hard work and dedication from his parents, and brings those values to each case. He has been practicing law for over twenty five years. He has had the privilege of working on many different types of cases. These experiences have taught him that each case is different and must be addressed according to the particular circumstances.

Having been born in Chicago, Elmer moved to Miami, as a young child. Having graduated with honors from the University of Florida and obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing and a minor in Economics, Elmer attended the University of Florida College of Law, graduating in 1996. From there he became an Assistant State Attorney for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Florida. He then left the State to work in various other areas of the law including criminal defense and family law, only to return to being a prosecutor for a number of years before opening Sanchez and Eggebrecht, P.A. As a prosecutor, Elmer was assigned the position of the head of the Economic Crimes Unit and has tried numerous cases involving nearly all types of crimes ranging from petit thefts to murder.

Elmer has extensive experience in several other areas of law including family, business, and general civil litigation.
